Austin Crowder, "The Gear Guy"
In 2001, it got really hot in Dallas, TX. Austin and Alisha, his wife, decided to sell the house, get a U-haul and move 2 daughters to Western North Carolina. They moved to Brevard, NC which is surrounded by National and State Forests, 250 waterfalls and white squirrels. After many years in the real estate business, Austin went to his friend, Bob, with an idea. Let's make a company and have fun. Carolina Off Road Equipment was developed with the slogan: Live the way they dream!
Austin is married to Alisha, buyer's agent for Asheville's #1 Real Estate Team, and has 3 beautiful girls: Ali, Audrey and Abigail (and TWO girl dogs, Juno & Coco).
Bob Bell, "The Fun Broker"
Fun guy, family man and entrepreneur are just a few words to describe Bob Bell. For over 25 years, Bob has wanted to be the "Fun Broker." He has been in the 4x4 world building vehicles and slinging mud for decades.
He wants to help peoples' dreams come true and have a lot of fun doing it. Little does he know, Bob has been doing this with 100s of children at the Boys and Girls Club of Henderson County, families and friends all over the world.
When Austin came to him with the idea, Bob did what every smart husband does. He went and talked to his wife, Barbara. She said "yes" and Bob's and Austin's ideas came flowing.
Bob and Barbara live in Asheville, NC and have 3 great children: Lisa, Chris and Cassidy and 2 dogs, Liberty and Toby.
